    following graduation from florida atlantic university, michael worked for dr. m. alexander gabrielsen, a leading expert in aquatic injuries.  he was accepted to practice law by the supreme court of the state of texas, november 4, 1994.  he began his career as an attorney in houston, texas, participating in all aspects of commercial, personal injury, and tort cases from pre-suit to trial.  in february, 1999, he formed the sprain law firm, p.c. to represent individuals involved in, among other things, personal injury, social security, and texas workers’ compensation cases.  he became board certified by the texas legal board of legal specialization in workers’ compensation in 2004.  michael sprain has earned a reputation representing injured individuals in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and personal injury claims.  michael's strong values and commitment to his clients allows him to achieve the results his clients expect and deserve.  he has vast experience in workers’ compensation claims from handling benefit review conferences (brcs), contested case hearings (cchs), appeals to the texas workers’ compensation appeals panel to judicial review.  michael also has experience handling medical disputes before the state offices of administrative hearings (soah) and judicial review of soah hearings.  michael has a proven record of handling complex disputed cases from inception through completion.

    following graduation from the university of miami, alvaro worked for shutts & bowen, l.l.p., a leading florida law firm.  he was accepted to practice law by the supreme court of texas on november 8, 1985. alvaro began his career as an attorney in houston, texas,  participating in all aspects of commercial, business, personal injury, and tort cases from pre-suit to trial.  on april 1, 1992, he helped form the law firm of olinde & iglesias, p.c. to represent individuals and businesses involved in personal injury, commercial and business litigation cases.  he was accepted to practice law by the supreme court of the state of florida on july 13, 1992.  he is the former assistant city attorney for galena park, texas and jacinto city, texas.  over the course of more than 21 years of practicing law, alvaro has represented numerous individuals in personal injury, family law, and business litigation.  he has also assisted numerous companies in the start-up of their businesses and in navigating through commercial and business litigations.  his ability to speak spanish fluently has allowed alvaro to aid many spanish-speaking clients who have been required to become involved in the texas legal system.
